destroyed planets with moons

i found a destroyed planet,and its moon was still there.
i have a few questions.
1.if i colonize do i get that moon?
2.can i use that moon?
3.it is very near me but do i have a chance to get it?ie.is this just someones attempt to get a bigger planet,in which case i might have problems with whoevers moon i stole.

i DON'T THINK THE GAME WILL ALLOW YOU TO COLONIZE THE SPOT WHERE THE DESTROYED PLANET WAS. tRY IT AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS

Nope you cant take anyones moon...and you wont be able to colonise anything there until its completly empty...once the destroyed planet writing is gone then you will be able to colonise. but you wont have any benefits from it apart from a new planet.

but you wont actually be able to colonise on the spot where the moon was...no body can. if the players moon is just destroyed then that player will continue to own that slot making it unavalible. if he has detroyed his planet then the moon will go aswell as soon as the server does the auto update..takes like 48 hours for a planet/moon to completely disapeer.
